Zayed University (ZU)honored the achievements of533 of its exceptional, dedicated, and outstanding students in an awarding ceremony held in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses to further reward students for their accomplishments and to encourage them to continue pursuing academic excellence.Distinguished students, who were awarded for excelling in their studies, met a grade point average (GPA) of 3.60 or more and received a certificate from Dr Marilyn Roberts, Acting Provost at Zayed University, during a ceremony attended by parents and family members to mark a great day of pride.The ceremony saw the presence of Dr Fatima AlDarmaki, Assistant Provost for Students Affairs, Ruba Ramahi, Interim University Registrar, and Deans of Zayed University Colleges. 

While addressing outstanding students and their parents,Dr Marilyn Roberts conveyed sincere congratulations and best wishes on behalf of Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister State of Tolerance and President of Zayed University, and Professor Reyadh AlMehaideb, Vice President of Zayed University, and affirmed Zayed University’s commitment to provide a high-quality education and an effective learning environment for its students in order to excel in their fields of study as well as extracurricular and university activities.“Appearing on the Dean’s List shows how much hard work and dedication you put into your education and qualifies you for a variety of benefits that can persist through your future education and prospective career. Therefore, Zayed University will continue to support its students in order to reach their full potential and excel in their field of studies to make valuable contributions in their forthcomingprofessions and in their local community,” Dr Marilyn said during the ceremony.

“Zayed University is extremely proud of its high-achieving students, who have met and overcome various challenges during their tenure at Zayed University and earned the right for their name to be placed on the Dean’s List, which considers a very prestigious honor that a matriculated student at Zayed University can achieve,” she added. This year, out of the 533 students honored, 267 were female and 22 were male in Abu Dhabi campus, and 236 were female and 8 were male in Dubai campus.
