District Information Centre,(DIC) Budgam today organized a Mehfil Mushaira at District Headquarter Budgam. The Mushaira was attended by prominent and noted poets from all across the district which include Advocate G. M. Niyazi who also presided the Mushira, Nisar Budgami, Gulshan Badrani, Nazir Josh, Jamaal Ali Karbalia, Gh Ali Mashkoor, Asadullah Asad among others .While appreciating the efforts of District Information Centre Budgam in organizing the Mehfil Mushaira Mr. G.A. Niyazi on behalf of all the participants said that such efforts have emboldened signs for the upcoming poets particularly youth who are new in this field as they will get a chance to demonstrate their potential with enthusiasm. Mr. Niyazi on the occasion requested for organizing such programs in future also as these deliberations would help young scholars/poets to a great extent.While appreciating the participation of renowned poets in the Mehfil Mushaira, the District Information officer, Mr. Angrez Singh said that such Mushairas’ are aimed promote the poetic talent and culture of the state .
