Describing the Youth as future of the Country, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has urged upon the Youth to remain steadfast in service of the people and in strengthening the country and State, for the fact, Country’s future lies with youth. Youth has the responsibility of strengthening the Nation and making it free from social evils. The Youth will have to play a pivotal role in strengthening the democratic institution also and work with great enthusiasm to ensure overall development of the Country and State. PCC Chief was addressing a day long convention organized by Pradesh Youth Congress at Srinagar today.

Syed MLA Mohd Amin Bhat PCC Office Bearers, IYC Secretary Dr. Uma Shanker Panday, PYC President Pranav Shagotra, General Secretaries Naseer Ahmad Mir, Amir Rasool who organized the convention along with LYC, AYC Teams, Rajvir , Secretary Balbir, LYC Presidents, AYC Presidents of Kashmir also addressed the convention.Terming strong Youth as a Strong Nation, G.A. Mir appealed the Youth to come forward and shoulder the responsibility of strengthening the Nation and people to the best of their ability and remain committed to their cause of serving the Nation and ensure that future of the Country is better and prosperous, for the fact, future of the country lies with you, PCC Chief told the youth Convention
He said Youth need to utilize their skills and should work with great vigour and vitality for upliftment of people especially poor and down trodden sections of the Country and State, not only this, Youth will have to share the responsibility of strengthening the democratic intuitions like Panchyats, Urban, Local bodies by involving themselves fully in these institutions with great wit and ensure development of the common people from grass roots level.
He (G.A.Mir) told the youth Convention to gear up the forthcoming ULB and Panchayat elections and ensure Congress Party’s overwhelming Victory in these elections.Elaborating on the pro youth programmes, policies, Flagship Schemes launched by Congress Party under the Young and dynamic Leadership of Rahul Gandhi during past 10 years, JKPCC Chief said that it is the Congress Party and UPA Govt alone which has launched several schemes directly benefitting youth aiming to make them strong and economically viable. He said attempts are being made at various levels to sabotage these schemes merely on political lines, but he felt confident that Congress Party under the dynamic leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi would defeat those forces or factors weakening these scheme to serve their vested interests.
On this occasion G.A. Mir told the youth to move ahead with an agenda of development, Progress, peace and fight against those forces factors exploiting youth for personal benefit. Congress Party won’t compromise on the future of the Youth and would continue to pursue the policies and schemes benefitting youth. he said. Eulogizing the Youth of J&K for their talent and skill, PCC Chief said that youth in J&K are highly talented and can do wonders, he appealed the youth to come forward and contribute in overall development of the State and shoulder the responsibility of strengthening the people. He also appealed them youth to remain vigilant and defeat the elements exploiting them for personal benefit.PCC Chief also administered the oath to Youth Convention The Oath reads as “That Youth Convention would continue to strengthen and serve the Party to the best of their ability. They (Youth) would actively participate in the ULB and Panchayat Elections and ensure Congress Party’s victory , in these elections, with a thumping majority and would continue to shoulder the responsibility of strengthening democratic institutions of the State, etc, etc.’’
IYC President Raja Amrinder Singh Brar who was the Chief Guest accused Narinder Modi Govt for its anti farmer and anti youth policies, he said Centre Govt is working against the aspirations of the Youth and only take care of the Corporate Sector. Congress Party under the leadership of Shri. Rahul Gandhi would continue to fight against the discrimination either with the Farmers or Youth of the Country. He said Congress Party won’t tolerate discrimination or injustice with anyone in the country and would continue to defeat anti people and anti youth policies of Narinder Modi Govt, IYC President said.IYC President praised Kashmiri Youth for their skills and said that youth in J&K are more energetic and can contribute a lot to the overall and development of the Country and State. He appealed the youth of Kashmir to work hard for better future of State.IYC President felt confident that Youth Congress in J&K would remain committed to serve the people in the State and fight against discrimination against youth in the State.PYC President Pranav Shagotra while addressing the convention felt confident that Youth Congress in J&K is a vibrant situation the State, he praised Youth Congress Leaders and workers for their dedication and hard work in strengthening the Party.
