A group of 25 students of Indo Global College of Architecture participated in Annual NASA (National Association for Students of Architecture) Convention held at G.C.P.I.A , Surat. National Association of Students of Architecture is a National level student’s body comprising of various architecture colleges. It holds conventions at Zonal and National level every year and facilitates interactions among students of architecture colleges. The Convention was attended by 3000 Students of 100 Architecture Colleges from various states of India.During the week long Convention, the students of Indo Global College participated in the various academic activities and competitions namely in various workshops and activities – bamboo workshop, Clay modelling, Photography, Theatre and Architectural Journalism and exceled.
They also showcased their creative talent in Sculptures, Wall paintings and Models. In the study based workshop Students learnt different architectural Softwares like Revit, Auto-CAD, Rhino and Grasshopper. The students also competed in the Reubens Trophy presenting college work, ISOLA Trophy presenting Landscaping of Wasteland, Nari Gandhi Trophy on study of sustainable building and Louis I. Kahn Trophy students documenting the Banasar Bagh, Sangroor. While speaking at the moment Chairman Sukhdev Singla Indo Global Said that the epitome of all that NASA stands for competition, learning and interaction. At this culmination , students from across the nation and the world, come together to celebrate architecture in its truest form. The main vision of the annual convention is architectural evolution. He further added that this will prove helpful for future architects to learn different type of modern and primitive architectural designs according to the requirement of particular place.
