Accusing BJP-PDP for the present political crisis and chaos in the State, former minister and JKPCC president Ghulam Ahmed Mir has said that only Congress represents the aspirations of the people and this is the party which can ensure justice to the people of all the three regions of the State.Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Khour in Akhnoor Sub Division of district Jammu today, Mir referred to the present chaos pertaining to absence of the Government in the State. He accused both the PDP and BJP for misleading people on the name of agenda of alliance. He said people are being treated as slaves by both the parties and the present political drama staged by them is another attempt to hoodwink the people like they have done in the previous Assembly elections.PCC chief exhorted the party cadre to remain steadfast in serving the people to the best of their ability. He said Congress party has always been committed to reach out to the people for addressing the issues they are facing, for the fact, it is the Congress party alone, which has always been committed for betterment and development of the people.

While speaking on the occasion former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Congress leaders Tara Chand said that it is the Congress Party alone which has the capability of serving and resolving the issues people are facing. He said that Congress party is capable enough to serve the State and its people.Tara Chand held BJP and PDP responsible for the political chaos created in the State and said that both the parties must clear their stand. The people of the State are badly suffering due to their political drama.PCC vice president and MLA, GM Saroori castigated PDP- BJP for the present stalemate and sought clarity from them. He asked them to explain to the people why they are not moving ahead for Government formation, as the people are worst hit by their political drama.Expressing concern over the present political crisis in the State, former minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla accused BJP for failing to respect the aspirations of people in Jammu. He accused BJP of playing with the emotions of people for the sake of coming into power, now the time has changed, people of Jammu would give a befitting reply to BJP for betraying them.Dy Chairman of Legislative Council Jehangir Hussain Mir, PCC treasurer Rajnish Sharma and District president Jammu (Rural) Shamsher Singh, Block president Suram Singh, Mahila president and others also spoke on the occasion.
