Sat Sharma, MLA & State President BJP accompanied by Dr. Nirmal Singh, MLA Billawar, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.Besides discussions on the political situation, the BJP leaders brought to Governor’s notice several important issues of public interest, including disbursement of relief to PoK refugees and to those who had lost their houses in the floods, construction of shelters for people affected by firing from across the border, removal of encroachments in Gandhinagar, macadamisation of roads in Jammu city, implementation of the Supreme Court order in regard to Khair trees, conduct of Panchayat and Municipal Elections and several other matters.
