Impressing upon the concerned officers to speed up the process of AADHAR registration in the district, District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal today directed to ensure that the process of AADHAR registration is completed till 31st March in the district. During a meeting held today the DDC issued strict directions the Tehsildars to formulate effective plan, so that the process of registration is completed well in time.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bashir Ahmad Khan, Joint Director Planning, A. G. Malik, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, G. A. Malla, Tehsildars and Block Development Officers.The meeting took a comprehensive review of the status of AADHAR registrations in the district. It was given out that 84% of the population of the district has been registered under the process so far. It was also informed that out of the total population in the district, only 1 Lakh and 40 Thousand persons are yet to be covered.
Tehsil wise review of the status of AADHAR registration was also taken during the meeting.The concerned were directed to optimise the usage of the machines. Directions were also issued for transferring machines to far flung places, where less population has been covered so far under AADHAR registration. The DDC directed the Officers to submit a report after every four days, indicating the progress in AADHAR registration.Meanwhile, a thorough review of the preparation of data for the implementation of NFSA in the district was also taken during the meeting. The DDC impressed upon the Assistant Director CA&PD to speed up the process of linking AADHAR to the Data. Directions were also issued to enhance the process of weeding out of the duplications form the list.
