Lucknow , 25 Feb 2016

BJP president Amit Shah said on Thursday the party will get a majority in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections and exhorted its cadres to inform the people about the Narendra Modi government's achievements."There is no challenge before the party in 2017 as the state's people are fed up with caste politics unleashed by parties like the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)," the Bharatiya Janata Party leader said while speaking to workers after inaugurating a renovated party office on the Vidhan Sabha Marg here.Shah warned them to be careful against divisive politics of regional politicians and ensure that a development-oriented BJP government was voted to power in Uttar Pradesh in 2017.He also sought to know from Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi whether he was with nationalist or divisive forces like the ones who raised anti-India and pro-terrorist slogans at the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus in Delhi recently.
