In a scathing attack, J&K PCC has asked People’s Democratic Party to come clear in front of the people as the State of J&K State is passing through a very crucial phase of political uncertainty. The wrong policies of PDP has disturbed the socio political scenario of the state, resulting in people in all the three regions feel apprehensive and highly concerned about the fate of the State and their future, The continuous silence maintained by the PDP is nothing, but a strategy to hoodwink the people again, which is fraught with dangerous consequences for it (PDP).Addressing the gathering at Ranipura Shangus (Anantnag) JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has sought clarification from the PDP over the silence maintained by it. The wrong policies of PDP has created political uncertainty in the State, which is not only dangerous for the State, but for the future of the people, PCC Chief Said.

Describing the present prevailing chaos in the State as a major gift of PDP to People, PCC Chief has said that PDP has betrayed and has let down the people in every respect.Accusing PDP for playing with emotions of people on account of agenda of alliance, and good governance, PCC Chief asked the PDP to let the people know about the agenda of alliance, which was actually a power sharing formula between PDP and BJP, but when it did not materialized, the PDP started playing political drama to save its sinking boat.He said PDP should admit that they entered into an unholy alliance after ditching people, after seeking mandate, in the name of keeping right wing party away, but what happened after that, both Parties (PDP and BJP) despite severe ideological differences entered into alliance for the sake of grabbing power, by betraying their respective mandates. People of the State would never forgive them for such deceit and the time is not far, when both Parties will be wiped out from the State for betraying the people’s trust.

Urging Party Cadres to be ready for the challenges ahead, PCC Chief emphasized the fact that Congress Party is Strong enough to meet the challenges. Reiterating congress Party’s resolve to fight for the resolution of the issues confronting people, he (G .A. Mir) said that it is the Congress Party alone which represents the aspirations of the people of three regions and would remain committed to address people’s issues to the best of its ability, he said.

Describing Congress Party as an instrument of service to the people, PCC Chief urged Congress Party workers and leaders to reach out to the people and work tirelessly for mitigating their sufferings, he said.Speaking on the occasion Senior Congress Leaders and Former Minister Taj Mohi U Din said that Food Security Act was not applicable to J&K State and it should not have been implemented without being debated or passed by the State Legislature in order to safeguard the interests of the people of the State.

He (Taj Mohi U Din) said Food Security Act is not going to help the poor people categorized under BPL or AAY, as per the Act the people can be able to get 25 kgs of Ration @ Rs.3/ Kg, while the remaining 10 Kgs they can get from the open Market @ 30, which means, they will have to pay Rs. 375/ for 35 Kgs, is certainly not going to help poor families, he said. Condemning the Sarore (Samba) incident, Taj Mohi U Din expressed serious concern and said that attempts are being made to vitiate the atmosphere of peace and tranquility in the State, he demanded an impartial investigation, so that the culprits be identified for severe punishment.Among other who spoke on the occasion included Vice President PCC Mohd Anwar Bhat, Legislators, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Mohd Amin Bhat, Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah and others.
