Accusing People’s Democratic Party of taking people for a ride former Speaker and senior National Conference leader Muhammad Akbar Lone Wednesday said that people in Kashmir have realized and understood the ‘viscous’ designs of PDP and they eagerly want re-election to teach a lesson to his party that according to Lone bartered the principles for power.Lone claimed that from the very first day of sharing power with BJP, PDP had realized its blunder and the party somehow wanted to break the alliance. “The demise of Mufti provided it a chance to revisit its decision. This party is in a fix now because of one wrong decision.

In a bid to befool the people of Kashmir, this party tries to give an impression that it has set a series of conditions before the BJP, which is untrue,” Lone told CNS and added that in case Assembly is dissolved and elections are conducted, PDP will barely manage to get a single Assembly seat.“The sun has set for PDP and it will soon become a history. Whether this party will form the government with BJP or will go for re-elections, in both ways this party will lose and will get decimated,” he said.Lone alleged that the party has put people in trouble by using dilly dally tactics in government formation. “People have been facing tremendous hardships. Their problems do not get addressed. They want a government on the ground while PDP is still busy in playing politics,” he said. (CNS)
