To sensitize women about the schemes implemented by J&K State Women’s Development Corporation (JKWDC) a Loan Mela-cum-Awareness Camp was inaugurated by the Managing Director ,JKWDC, Dr Naheed Soz at Girls Higher Secondary School, Bakshi Nagar .The camp was sponsored by National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC), Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.While speaking on the occasion, Dr. Soz highlighted the various schemes and achievements of the Corporation which have significantly contributed towards women empowerment . She exhorted upon women to come forward and avail the benefits of these schemes . She also spoke about the schemes Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.Among others, the camp was attended by the representatives of Health, Education, JKEDI and Social Welfare Departments and large number of people.Later, Dr. Soz also inspected the stalls which were established by the women beneficiaries who were provided loan and training facilities by WDC.
