Tremendous support given to the Parivar Jodo campaign launched in Punjab by Aam Aadmi Party, During this, area's of Vidhan Sabha constituency Samana like Dakala, Sular, Rakhra and other areas have shown great response with more than 3000 families agreeing to AAP and have taken initiative in the Parivar Jodo campaign. This campaign has resulted as a setback for the Congress and the Akali Dal as Sular and Rakhra represented respectively by Hardial Singh Kamboj of Congress and Surjeet Singh Rakhra of Akali Dal BJP have shown tremendous support to the Parivar Jodo Campaign.This was stated here today by the in charge of the Parivar Jodo campaign in these areas, Paramjit Singh Kainth. He further claimed that this Campaign will unravel the fake promises of the ruling Akali BJP Government for the benefit and development of the State. Kainth said, 'People are fed up of the delayed progress and in some cases no development at all by the State Government and the ineffective opposition i.e. Congress and have decided to uproot the monopoly of both these Parties and give Aam Aadmi Party a majority vote.
Kainth further said that people are tired of these traditional parties, because of the inefficient planning and policies of these Royal Parties the farmer and agriculture labor of Punjab is forced commit a scary step like Suicide. In the year 2015-16 alone, more than 1000 farmers and 300 approx Agriculture labor has committed suicide. The Ruling government has not been able to provide sufficient employment to the youth which in turn has the youth of Punjab worried about their future. Youth of Punjab has been deteriorated by the menace of Drugs and to put an estimate on the consumption of Drugs in Punjab, claimed Kainth. He added that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi under the Guidance of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has put together a team to study the use of drugs like Heroin, opium, dodde, Husk and other Opium related drugs as well as other Medical Drugs.
According to the team, 9 lakh individuals suffer from drug addiction.The extremely high number of addicted individuals disprove the claim of Akali Dal BJP about a Drug Free Punjab instead Drugs are a huge menace in today's society. Aam Aadmi Party shall work towards the betterment of Punjab and to decrease and even eradicate Drugs from Punjab completely and provide a safer haven for the People of Punjab to live in unlike the constant terror of the Akali BJP Government.He added that Aam Aadmi Party is gaining ground in the state by the passing of every day and claimed that the party will sweep the coming assembly poll due in the year 2017.
