National Informatics Centre organised a workshop on Swachh Bharat Urban Portal for Executive Officers of Municipal Committees, staff members and Khidmat centre operators from Samba, Vijaypur and Bari Brahmana here today.District Informatics Officer NIC, Varinder Singh Pathania, ADIO Sourav Bhandari, Vejinder Singh and Satish were present in the training programme.The participants were made familiar about various components of portal https://Swachhbharaturban.gov.in and informed that the portal provides guidelines to Urban Local Bodies on tendering/contracting, innovation in technologies, other capacity building material, advisories etc,. The ULB's can update wards, city sanitation plan, and theme based sanitation drives on the portal. The individuals can sign up on the portal and file application for construction/conversion of individual household toilets.The DIO NIC asked Khidmat centre operators to facilitate general public in completing the online process for constructing individual household toilets.
