Vice Chairman, State Advisory Board for Development of Gujjars and Bakerwals, Choudhary Zafar Ali today convened a public meeting to redress the grievances of members of the community.The Vice Chairman after listening demands and problems of the people, assured all possible help saying that the administration is committed for overall welfare and upliftment of Gujjar and Bakerwal communities.Later, while chairing a review meeting, the Vice Chairman said that the board is examining the proposal for opening mobile schools for the nomads in the state on smart education pattern after completing the survey and ensuring feasibility, apart from strengthening the existing schools.Among others, ADDC Bhawani Singh Rakwal, CPO H L Sharma, ASP Sanjay Rana, DSWO Pritam Thapa, CEO Vinod Soni, DFO and other senior officers of the district were present on the occasion.
