We have managed to apprehend notorious drug peddlers so far and the drive against them will continue,” SSP Baramulla said adding the trio have been sent to sub jail Kupwara. Meanwhile, DIG North Kashmir Gareeb Das claimed that North Kashmir will be drug free zone till the end of this year. “We have chalked out a strategy under which all the drug peddlers will be booked under stringent Public Safety Act and stern action will be taken against those using drugs in the three districts of North Kashmir,” Das told CNS.
