Additional District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Nath Sadhu convened a meeting of officers of 14 line departments working under PRIs to discuss grass root planning and progress, here today. The meeting was attended by Programme Officer ICDS Ashok Pandita, GM DIC, CAO, DSHO, AD Fisheries, Dy CEO and officers of various departments.
While taking stock of progress on works approved in grass root planning with the help of PRIs by different departments, the ADDC directed the officers that no working plan shall be approved without the consent of PRIs. He further asked them to implement all orders and circulars passed by the government from time to time regarding devolution of powers.
The ADDC stressed upon officers to involve PRIs in the implementation of various schemes, programmes and identification of genuine beneficiaries. He also instructed officers to prepare monthly progress report regarding involvement of PRIs.Meanwhile, a deputation of locals from block Gandri also met with ADDC and apprised him with issues pertaining to MGNREGA and other works. ADDC assured them for early resolution of all issues on priority.
