Haji Abdul Rahim Bhat, grandfather of Afaq Bhat, Chief Editor Precious Kashmir and Alsafa, passed away on Monday after a brief illness.The deceased is father of former Director General Fire and Emergency Services and incumbent Technical Secretary Home, Dr G A Bhat. Hundreds of people participated in the funeral prayers of the deceased. Mourning would be observed for three days and there would be no Chahrum.Journalist fraternity and political parties have condoled the demise and have expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
