Today, Anti Leprosy day was observed in Reasi in which awareness lecture regarding the disease was given to the participants by CMO Reasi Dr Parminder Singh.On the occasion, CMO impressed upon the workers to give awareness regarding early detection and availability of free treatment at all health centres and also stressed upon them to remove misconceptions regarding the disease.CMO directed all the health workers to conduct door to door survey of their areas during the anti leprosy fortnight.Later, a rally comprising of Dy CMO Dr K C Dogra , all BMO’s, health officials and ASHA workers was flagged off by CMO, from old hospital, which after passing through main bazaar, culminated at DH Reasi.
