To create interest in students about the promotion of forests and environment, the Department of Forest Protection Force organized a symposium on the topic ‘Forest Protection for Sustenance’ here today. The students of House Corp. Cooperative Public School Sidhra and Modern Public Educational Institute Sidhra participated in the programme with the jawans of the force.Ms. Muskan of House Corp. Cooperative Public School Sidhra bagged the first prize, while Ms. Nusrat Jabeen and Ms. Naaz Bhano of Modern Educational Institute Sidhra bagged the 2nd and 3rd prizes whereas consolation prizes were given to Master Zakir and Miss Nargis of House Corp. Cooperative Public School Sidhra.S. K. Gupta, Director Forest Protection Force was the Chief Guest and Kh. Qamar Din, Joint Director FPF Jammu was the Guest of Honour on this occasion.
