State Pollution Control Board conducted the Public hearing on Sawalakote H.E.P of 1856 MW on river Chenab, in the premises of SDM office Mahore, to know the views of General Public of the area about the project.ADDC Reasi Bhawani Rakwal chaired the hearing and also gave his views on the project.More than 300 locals of the area including Sarpanches, Panches of panchayat Dhanour, Dhansal, Dhanae,Pugga, Khani kote etc witnessed the public hearing and raised their views and concerns about the project especially employment to the locals, road connectivity and other aspects of corporate social responsibility.Mr Angrez Singh, Div Officer PCB Kathua and Narayan Thakur Inspector PCB conducted the proceedings of the public hearing.
