Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mendhar, Thakur Sher Singh, finalized the arrangements for 67th Republic Day celebrations at a meeting of Sub Divisional Officers here,today.Among others SDPO, Shahid Naheim Choudhary, Tehsildar Mendhar, Ch. Salam Din, DyCEO, Satpal Sharma, BMO, Dr. Zulfkar Choudhary, XEn PMGSY, Abdul Ghani Jagal, AEEs of PHE, PDD and PWD besides other officers of Sub-Divisional Administration and representatives of educational institutions attended the meeting.It was given out in the meeting that the National Flag shall be unfurled at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Mendhar by the chief guest, who will take salute at the march-past contingents comprising of JKP, JKAP, NCC and students from various educational institutions.The SDM took detailed review of the arrangements with regard to security, power supply, sanitation, barricading etc. in and around the venue. He stressed for coordination among the concerned departments for smooth conduct of national event.Similar functions will be held at Tehsil Headquarters in Mankote and Balakote.
