District Development Commissioner, Ramban Bashir Ahmed Dar today convened a meeting to finalize the necessary arrangements for the celebration of Republic Day-2016 with officers of district administration. SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Babu Ram, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Vivek Puri, CPO, Parshotam Kumar, Principal GDC, Ramban, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Youth Services and Sports Officer besides heads of various departments including Police, representative of schools and colleges were present in the meeting.
The meeting was informed that the day would start with Flag hoisting at District Police Lines, Ground Ramban followed by March pass by the contingents of District Police, Forest Protection Force, NCC and school children of various educational institutions.Threadbare discussions was held on various arrangements related to the smooth conduct of the function like seating, barricading, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, first- aid, fire services, security, transport, traffic regulations and refreshment to students participating in the National-function.The DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure better coordination for making national function a grand success. He exhorted upon the district heads to ensure their presence as well as their subordinate officers and staff to be present at the function.
