Slathia inaugurates development works in village Badhwal

MLA Vijaypur and Former Minister Surjeet Singh Slathia today convened a public meeting at Badhwal in Vijaypur constituency.Addressing the gathering, Slathia said that Omar led coalition government was committed to provide all basic amenities  like road connectivity, power and water supply, Medicare, education, etc in remote and far off pockets.He said that the state and centre government has launched number of flagship programmes to uplift the socio-economic status of the people particularly living in rural and far-flung areas. He said that the development and welfare schemes would be further accelerated during the next financial year. He also listened to the grievances of the people and assured them for their early redressal. He also assured that the construction of remaining lanes and drains shall also be taken soon.Earlier Slathia inaugurated newly constructed lanes and drains and laying of tiles in Badhwal constructed by Rural Development Department completed at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh under constituency development fund (CDF). He said that there is no constraint of funds and every panchayat would be provided adequate funds to meet the developmental needs.Among others all district officers of different department were present on the occasion.
