Traders bodies  Friday claimed that after their successful meeting with the administration, traders and transporters in Pulwama have decide to resume their normal business from Saturday after a deadlock of 15 days.    In a statement issued here, Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation president, Mohammad Yasin Khan said, “24 days deadlock in Pulwama has ended as the government agreed in principle to meet the demands of area traders and civilians.”“After a detailed meeting with between administration, traders and members of the civil society,” Khan said, “it was decided that the demands of the civilian population will be fulfilled.” “It was only after the fruitful dialogue that the markets reopened and other work started as normal.”

He said, “apart from construction of Memorial of Martyrs, administration agreed that all the detained youth are being released, and that there would be no further raids or other harassment of the civilians.”Publicity Secretary of another faction of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation Hilal Ahmed Mandoo said that administration has decided to release all the youth from custody while it also assured that youth will be allowed to erect ‘Martyrs Memorail’ at a later period of time.
