Pulse Polio Immunization arrangements reviewed at Baramulla

To review the preparedness for Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) campaign in the district, a meeting of District Task Force (DTF) was today held at Baramulla.The meeting was chaired by Joint Director Planning, A.G. Malik.It was informed in the meeting that 154190 children will be immunized across district Baramulla under the Pulse Polio Immunization Program for which 845 vaccination booths have been set up across the ten blocks of the district. Besides, 1690 teams comprising 3380 team members including 1591 Health workers, 986 ASHA workers, 758 ICDS workers and 45 teachers will be deployed across the district.Meanwhile, transit camps for railway stations and bus addas besides mobile teams have also been constituted for the purpose.
