Director School Education (DSE) Jammu, Ms. Smita Sethi today inaugurated two day Annual Book fair 2015-16 at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar.The fair was organised by Directorate School Education (DSE) Jammu in collaboration with State Institute of Education (SIE) Jammu.Ms. Smita Sethi went around the fair and inspected book stalls set up by publishers and book-sellers in the exhibition and exhorted upon the teaching community to inculcate the habit of book reading among the students.As many as 37 stalls were installed in the fair comprising twenty three from Jammu Division, eight from Kashmir Division and six from outside the state, exhibiting both general and subject specific books.Among others, Joint Director Trainings and Principal SIE Jammu, Mohd. Iqbal, CEO Jammu, J.K. Sudan, Joint Director DSE, Jammu, Darshan Lal, CAO DSE Jammu, Ajay Gupta and Principal of Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar, Farida Javed were present on the occasion.
