Department of Information and Public Relations Udhampur organized an interaction meeting with media persons in the premises of the District Information Centre. Media persons representing print and electronic media highlighted issues being faced by the media fraternity. On the directions of District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary suggestions were also sought from media persons for improvement in civic amenities in Udhampur town. District Information Officer, Udhampur, Dr. Ashwani Hansa appreciated the efforts of media persons for their collective work in highlighting various issues of public importance. He sought cooperation of the media persons in highlighting government achievements and programmes in a better way and assured all possible help from the department in this regard. Among others, President Press Association Udhampur & correspondent Kashmir Times, Ramesh Gupta, Correspondent Dainik Jagran Udhampur, Amit Mahi, Correspondent State Times, Pardeep Bakshi, Krishan Khajuria from Hind Samachar, Mohammad Maqbool IBN7, Surinder Sharma from DD News/ANI, Arvind Singh Manhas from Young Bites, Arun Jasrotia from Sahara News,Vikram Parihar from News Nation and other media person of various print and electronic media attended the meeting.
