BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream project 'start-ups', which is being launched on January 16 will bring about a revolutionary change and strengthen the economy of the country."The visionary Prime Minister was putting in his best efforts to lead the country into a new era of entrepreneurship which will take India to new heights of growth. The opportunities for start-ups would definitely spin a success story," he said.Chugh said that India has attained a growth rate of 7.4 percent and the challenge before the cou7ntry was to attain a growth rate of 9-10 percent and the Prime Minister has envisioned that start-ups can play a big role for achieving the target.The BJP leader said that the 'start-ups' campaign has kindled a new hope and enthusiasm into the innovative youth of the country who are raring to go and establish themselves in different fields. He said that Prime Minister was committed not to restrict the scheme to Metros but take it to other cities and towns too.
Hailing Prime Minister Modi and his team of ministers including finance minister Arun Jaitley for launching a slew of innovative campaigns, Chugh said that the 'Make in India' campaign, in last 17 months, has led to a 38 percent increase in foreign direct investment even as FDI has registered a 16 percent fall across the world.Chugh said the available data for the year 2015 tells that during January-September period the FDI inflow rose by 17 percent. He also said that under the Union government was working to achieve 40-45 percent increase in the foreign direct investment in the year 2016.He said that the country was all set to be a 'Vishwa Guru' by achieving a growth rate of 9-10 percent and the 'start-ups' will be playing a major role in the success story of India.
