ADC Ganderbal reviews implementation of NFSA

Additional Deputy Commissioner convened a meeting with officers of District level committee and reviewed the implementation of National Food Security Act (NFSA) in the District. Officers from the Revenue and CAPD departments also attended the meeting.Additional Deputy Commissioner enjoined upon the district level committees to ensure the exclusion and inclusion of families under the act within the stipulated time as per the given guidelines. Assistant Director CAPD was impressed upon to ensure availability of sufficient stocks of LPG, Kerosene oil and food grains in the district and to intensify the market checking to stop the black marketing, & unhygienic food items. They were also directed to take stern action against the erring traders.
