S. Rangil Singh, President J&K Olympic Association (JKOA), and Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Hon. General Secretary JKOA called on Governor N.N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today. Mr. Singh briefed the Governor about the need to enlarge the sports infrastructure in the State and to increase the facilities and support which need to be provided to young sportsmen and sportswomen. He also pointed to the support required for the upcoming sports events being organized by the Olympic Association. The Governor complimented the President and Gen. Secy. of JKOA for their missionary efforts for inculcating sports spirit among youth and agreed to participate in a function being organized by JKOA to honour the Youth who won medals at the National Games in 2015.
