Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CA&PD) and Tribal Affairs, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today visited Gujjar Basti Nikki Tawi and took stock of the people’s problems there.During his visit, the locals put forth their demands including regularization of the colony.The Minister gave them a patient hearing and assured that their genuine demands would be looked into.The Minister directed the concerned to prepare a comprehensive policy for regularization of Gujjar Basti Nikki Tawi and submit report to the concerned quarters.Interacting with the people, the Minister said that the Government headed by the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed for uplift of weaker sections of the society. He said the Government is also committed to provide basic amenities to every nook and corner of the State.
