To review the arrangements for celebration of upcoming Republic Day in Ganderbal district, a meeting of officers was held here today with Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat in the chair.The meeting decided to organize the main function at Mader-e-Meharban Stadium where the chief guest will unfurl the tricolor and take salute at the march past.The meeting disclosed that Departments of Education, Information and Youth Services and Sports will jointly arrange the cultural programmes on the occasion.After a thorough discussion, the meeting took necessary decisions regarding the arrangements for security, PAS system, drinking water, Medicare, refreshment to school children, barricading of the venue, transport facilities, toilet facilities as well as seating arrangements at the venue. Deputy Commissioner stressed upon all the officers to put in place all the arrangements well in time for the smooth celebration of Republic Day.ADC Ganderbal, ASP Ganderbal, SE R&B, CPO Ganderbal and all district officers were present in the meeting.
