District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal during a review meeting held here today took a comprehensive account of implementation and completion of developmental projects and schemes in the district.
The meeting discussed in detail various pending developmental projects in the district and also emphasised on coordination between different departments for completion of such projects in time.Issues related to identification of land for construction of buildings under RMSA, SSA and for construction of Girls Hostel at Sopore were also discussed. Chief Education Officer informed the meeting regarding various cases where land identification process is in progress.
In the meeting, the District Development Commissioner issued orders for constitution of teams comprising of Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Zonal Educational Officers and Tehsildar concerned for monitoring pending land identification cases and submitting a report by January 10.
Meanwhile, issue of identification of land for construction of Primary Health Centres at Shirpora and Hajibal under Health Sector was also examined in the meeting.The meeting also took a note of pending projects under PMGSY scheme and construction of Bus Adda at Uri. Construction of Sewage Treatment Plants in the district and land identification process and requisite NOCs for the same was also discussed.SE's from different departments, Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, CMO, CEO and all district and sectoral officers were present in the meeting.
