District Development Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda today reviewed the progress of works of Rural Development and Power Development Departments in a meeting of District Level Monitoring Committee.Among others the meeting was attended by ADDC Samba Vivek Sharma, CPO Samba Jasbir Singh, ACD Samba Tilak Raj, XEN PDD and BDOs.During the meeting physical and financial achievements up to ending November 2015 of various schemes like BADP, IAY, MGNREGA, SDRF and rural electrification were reviewed by the DDC. DDC directed PDD to keep database of electrical maintenance activities so that various bottlenecks could be identified. She further directed Executive Engineer PDD to furnish proposals for replacing damaged and old power poles and transformers as part of maintenance programme. DDC stressed on completing the works in current financial year besides maintaining quality on ground.
