Punjab Dairy Development Organizes 6 Week Professional Training

Punjab Dairy Development department has organized professional training for cattle rearer in their educational centers. Disclosing this here today Dairy Development Minister Gulzar Singh Ranike said that it is mandatory to impart professional training to cattle rearer to opt farmer for commercial dairy units to supplement their income.In a Press communiqué, Mr. Ranike said that in the present economic scenario where farming was fast becoming unviable economic venture, it was imperative for farmers to go for diversification in dairy sector to sustain themselves. He said that dairy development department has designed a six week Dairy Entrepreneurship Training course for farmers to impart modern training in Dairy sector.Minister Said that it is need of hour  that  farmers should be educated and having  knowledge of   modernize techniques. For this exercise, dairy development should impart practical training  from   11 January 2016 at their training centers. 

He said that education regarding breeding, standardize milk, feed and milch animals should provide to trainees  in this ambitious professional training,Mr. Inderjit Singh Director, Dairy Development said that   “Besides, giving information on different techniques of dairy farm management, the candidates would be imparted  6 week training in artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis and milk handling etc” he said. First batch would be initiated  from 11 January 2016 in training centers of Bija(Ludhiana) , Chtamali (Ropar), Gill ( Moga), Abbul Khurana ( Sri Mukatsar Sahib) , Sardulgarh (Mansa), Tarn Taran, Phagwarha ( Kapurthala) and Verka ( Sri Amritsar Sahib).He said that interviews would be conducted for training course by 4 January 2016  on 10 am at the training centers . A candidate should be  matric  passed  between age of 18 to 45 and having farm of  minimum five milch animals is eligible for training. Interested candidates would get prospects from the Deputy Director Diary / Diary Development Officer and also from the training centers .
