A group of 29 students from Government Degree College Mendhar, Poonch, called on Governor N N Vohra, here at the Raj Bhavan today.The Governor interacted with the students to know about the overall purpose of their trip and the institutions which they had planned to visit. On learning that these B.Sc final year students were on a field trip to gain firsthand knowledge about animal husbandry, poultry farming, fisheries, sericulture and related activities in the agricultural field, he directed his staff to urgently arrange for these students to have a half-day visit to SKUAST-Jammu where the Concerned Faculty should address these young scientists.The Governor urged the students to work hard towards achieving their goals and wished them a bright career ahead.The students were accompanied by Mr. Sarshad Hussain, Assistant Professor and HoD, Zoology, and Mr. Basharat Ali, Teaching Assistant in Botany, Govt. Degree College, Mendhar.
