Vice Chairperson, J&K State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Scheduled Castes Bushan Lal Dogra, today convened a meeting to review the implementation status of various schemes and programmes initiated by the Government for SCs.Vice chairperson reviewed various issues related the welfare of SCs including reservation of SCs, allotment of plots and shops to poor landless SCs besides construction of hostels for SCs.The Vice Chairman also discussed issues related to constitution of special cells in each district under the charge of DySP (Hq) for dealing with cases of discrimination against the SC/ST Community members.Special Secretary Social Welfare Department Mir Tariq Ahmad, Addl Secretary Housing Rakesh Magotra, Deputy Director Planning Social Welfare Department, Kuldeep Singh, Secretary J&K State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Scheduled Castes, Sham Lal, Under Secretary General Administration Department, Imteeaz Kachoo, Assistant Director Planning Education Department, Vijay Kumar were present in the meeting.
