Salvation Movement continues mass contact program

Under mass contact program, Senior Pro-freedom leader and Chairman Salvation Movement Zaffer Akbar Bhat visited many areas including Dangarpora and Kanihama.He was accompanied by Molvi Mushtaq Ahmad, Ab Qayoom, Ajaz Ahmad Beigh, Bashir Ahmad and others.During the visited, Zaffer Akbar Bhat apprised people about the current situation and said that the talks and human rights violations can't go hand in hand. He, while addressing gatherings said that Kashmiri's never opposed Indo-Pak dialogue but the process never resulted fruitful as Kashmiris were never involved in the process.Zaffer Akbar Bhat said that if both the nuclear armed countries want to resolve the lingering Kashmir conflict then they have to start tripartite dialogue between India, Pakistan and Pro-freedom leadership of Kashmir.

He however said that before starting such process, India has to stop suppressing Kashmiris.He said that talks and atrocities on innocent Kashmiris by armed forces can't go hand in handZaffer said that at time when India has started dialogue with Pakistan, its army has disappeared three innocents in Kupwara while as innocents are being booked under infamous and draconian law PSA.He slammed authorities for implementing anti-Kashmir and anti- people laws like Food Security Bill in Kashmir and said that people will resist such moves which will push people into sufferings.Zaffer said that such laws are being implemented to suffer Kashmiris despite knowing the fact that Indian laws can't be enacted in the state die to its special position. He criticized puppet government for denying basic amenities to people including Ration and electricity in this harsh winter.During the visit, chairman Salvation movement visited the family of Ab Rashid at Baghat i Kanipora  and condoled his sad demise.Abdul Rashid was working in Power Development Department and died when he was repairing (HT) High Tension Line.He termed the deceased noble and said that he was very social.
