Centre committed to provide all possible help to JK health sector: J.P Nadha

Stating that the Centre is committed to provide all assistance and resources to the Jammu and Kashmir in achieving health outcomes, the union health Minister J.P Nada Friday said that JK is progressing on the path of the health sector.“Our government is committed to provide quality health care to all the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We are also ensuring that all the regions have equal health facilities. I can say that Jammu and Kashmir is progressing on the path of health sector,” Nada told KNS.He said that the health sector was government’s top priority. “The government’s priority is health sector. It is unfortunate that Health sector in Jammu and Kashmir was affected the most in recent floods but yes the state government is vigorously working towards its betterment. As for as central government is concerned it is ready to give all possible help to the state,” Nada said

Further praising state government, the union minister said that the PDP-BJP government is fully designing and implementing programmes and schemes of the centre for the benefit of the masses.Nadda's statement came after he met State health and Medical education Minister Chowdray Lal Singh at New Dehli.He added that the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to provide healthcare facilities for all regions. “Funds for establishment of Medical Colleges in the state would be released to the J&K Government as the Union Government is all set to provide new infrastructural facilities in the health and medical education sector," Nadda added.
