The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) led by its Chairman, Zafar Akbar Bhat Wednesday held a protest here against the Human Rights Volition in the state Jammu and Kashmir. The JKSM chairman and his activists assembled at Srinagar’s Press Enclave and raised Anti-India slogans and were demanding end of such kind of violation in the Valley. While talking to KNS, Bhat said that the ever-lasting Human Rights Violation seems to have no end here as with each passing day the forces are violating the rights openly and interestingly no one bothers to speak even a single word against the involved forces.“The voices of Kashmiri people are being suppressed by using forces here. Using forces against innocent people is highly condemnable,” he said.
Appealing the Human rights groups and International community to take action against such kind of violation in the state, Bhat said, “It is the high time human rights groups to come forward and pressurize the Indian government to stop such kind of violations in the state at earliest.” “After killing innocents in the Valley, the government here formulates a probe committee, which is merely an eye-wash as so far the probe committee has miserably failed to expose the involved persons,” Bhat said. While referring to a query about Indo-Pak relationship, Bhat said that the dialogue is the only way to resolve the Kashmir issue and the relationship between the two neighboring countries.“Until and unless the Kashmir issue won’t be resolved, the relation between India and Pakistan won’t get better,” he said.Meanwhile, the protesters later dispersed peacefully.
