AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rashid has appealed the people of Srinagar to fulfill their moral responsibilities towards people of state by taking lead from the front for ending dynasty rule of PDP NC and also to ensure that sacrifices of Kashmiris don’t go in waste.According to a statement issued to KNS, while interacting with people of Srinagar hailing from different walks of life today, Er Rashid reminded people of city to lead from the front and show path for a positive change to the people of State in the same way they had been doing in the past from time to time, while heading various movements.
People from different walks of life including traders, doctors, Lawyers, prominent citizens, entrepreneurs, students and social activists participated in the interaction programme and expressed their strong desire for a political change.Speaking on the occasion, Er Rashid said “while people of city have sacrificed a lot at all fronts, a dynamic leadership must emerge from the city. Srinagar being not only capital but heart of State and symbol of resistance has to be the temple for good change.” Participants pledged to work for an alternative to NC and PDP and it was unanimously felt that both these so called regional parties have betrayed not only the people but also proved that their agendas of political resolution of Kashmir dispute and better governance have proved nothing but mere slogans to gain power.
