With major focus to deliver top to bottom solution in the irrigation facilities to every field under the “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana” and to review the progress achieved in conducting the field survey, a review meeting of Agriculture, Horticulture, Irrigation and Flood control, Rural Development, Revenue and Forest department was today convened by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Mr. Bhupinder Kumar in conference Hall D.C Office Doda.During the review meeting Mr. Kumar expressed concern over the tardy progress made by the departments in conducting field surveys for which block level and Panchayat level committees have already been formulated. The committees so constituted were directed to submit the report within 15 days but no report has yet been received by the deputy commissioner Office.Taking note of the non seriousness shown by the partnering departments, Deputy Commissioner Doda warned of strict action against the non-performing departments.It is pertinent to mention here that the plan for the development of irrigation schemes under the yojana will be formulated only after the field map and survey report is submitted by the committees.
