Continuing with its unabated campaign to bring medical facilities to the door steps of Awam, Army today organized yet another free medical Camp at Village Tsaraligund, Tral. The camp was organized to provide free medical consultation and medicines to the locals.A team of Army and Civil Medical doctors including Specialists from District Hospital Pulwama and SDH Tral attended the camp and provided quality medical treatment for the needy sections of society of Tsaraligund and neighbouring villages in Awantipur / Tral area. Referrals were also made for the needy for further specialized treatment. The locals were also educated about various diseases, basic health hygiene, sanitation and drug abuse.The camp received an overwhelming response by the locals where in over 500 people including men, women and children turned up for the medical treatment. Local populace especially village elders including Sarpanch appreciated the tireless efforts of Army in bringing medical facilities to the door steps of populace residing in remote areas of the Valley. The Commanding Officer Rashtriya Rifles and Army doctors assured the AWAM of their continuous support and cooperation in all their needs and at all times. (KNS)
