Minister for Transport Abdul Ghani Kohli today met a delegation of Gujjars and Bhakerwals at Government Guest House in Sonawar. The delegation of Gujjars and Bhakerwals hailing from Banihal, Kalakote, Shopian, Pulwama, Uri and Srinagar apprised the Minister about their grievances related to power supply, water supply and transport facility available in their respective areas.The Minister paid patient hearing to the demands highlighted by the delegation and telephonically instructed the officers of Public Health Engineering and Power Development Department to streamline water and power supply in their areas.The Minister assured that all their demands would be take up at the appropriate forums and other concerned departments for their immediate redressal.
