Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Sushri Uma Bharti has asked her Minister officials to call for an urgent meeting of representative of various states to effectively meet the new emerging challenges in the water resources sector. The Minister was speaking to the Irrigation Minister of Telangana, Shri T. Harish Rao who called on her in New Delhi today. The Minister said her Ministry will explore new ways and means to help various projects of the States. Shri Rao urged Sushri Bharti to expedite various pending proposals of his state. The Union Minister assured him that all these proposals will be examined expeditiously.
