With an aim to motivate and guide the students of Girls Higher Secondary School Doda, District Development commissioner Doda, Mr. Bhupinder Kumar today held an interactive session with the students.During interaction with the students, the DDC asked them to choose the desired career after class 12th with proper guidance of seniors and teachers and stressed that the aptitude and interest should be kept in mind while choosing a career to excel in that field .He said that a wide spectrum is open for the students to pursue engineering, Medicine, Law etc. after the higher secondary examination and students should work with dedication and put in hard work for achieving their goals.
Calling NCERT books as treasure house of Knowledge DC asked the students to study these books keenly as they are of great help while preparing for the competitive exams. He threw light on the various career options available and about the competitive examinations.Principal of the institution while speaking on the occasion projected the demands for improvement of facilities in the school which included repair of building of the old block of school damaged due to earthquakes and expedition of the ongoing work on the additional block of the school.DDC assured that the concerned Executing agency will be directed to complete the building in shortest possible time and said that he will himself review the weekly performance of the pace of work Students who excelled in the field of sports and studies were also and felicitated on the occasion.
