Underlining commitment to promote transparency and curbing corruption in the department, the Minister said the department is one of the biggest in term of human resources and to plug the menace of corruption in transfer an online system would be put in place. She said the department would constitute an in-house medical board to monitor the cases of transfer on health ground.  She said transparent on-line portal would incorporate data base of all the employees and transfers would be done in an automatic manner after completion of requisite stay.

“For the betterment of education sector rationalization would be done and transfers would be made as per the requirement of the education institutes,” she stressed.She said the process of rationalization has been initiated under the guidance of the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Education Minister Naeem Akhtar has taken bold steps to ensure quality education in the state.She was speaking at the annual function of Fatima Convent School, Bishnah.

Underscoring on resolve of the government to revamp education sector in the state, Minister of State for Education, Information and Culture Priya Sethi said series of steps have been taken to promote transparency and improve efficiency in the department. She said quality education is top priority of the government and necessary initiatives have been taken to ensure that standard of education in the state improves.“We are committed to transparency in the department and ensuring optimal utilisation of human resources, so as to ensure better results in government run schools,” she added.
