BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday exuded confidence that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would step down from his position following BJP-led NDA achieving two-third majority after the ongoing five-phased Bihar assembly polls."BJP-led NDA is coming to power in Bihar and chief minister Nitish Kumar will certainly give his resignation on November 8 when we will get two-third majority during counting of the state assembly polls," Shah said while addressing an election rally in Bihar's Saran district.Shah urged people gathered at a small ground, which was half empty, to give one chance to the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance to rule Bihar. "You have given chance to every one, give us one chance," he said.He also attacked Rashtriya Janata Dali (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad, saying: "Lalu is only talking about black magic, tantra-mantra, not about development.

How can he along with Nitish Kumar will develop Bihar?"Shah also sought to reiterate that BJP was not against reservation for Dalits and Other Backward Classes (OBCs).Stating that Bihar failed to develop and remained backward due to 25 years rule of Lalu-Rabri and Nitish Kumar, he said: "BJP can develop Bihar and will ensure to make it number one."He said Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad were trying to derail the development agenda in polls by raising issues unrelated to people."People have decided this time to vote for a develop Bihar and against underdeveloped Bihar."Shah said Lalu Prasad, the former chief minister of Bihar, has been talking about polls battle between forward castes and backward castes and both -- Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar -- are misleading people on caste lines for their political gains.
