AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rasheed has asked those who are engaged in propaganda and mud slugging by accusing Muslims of hurting sentiments of minority community in Kashmir, should answer what name shall be given to the restrictions imposed by the government on religious processions of Muharram or not allowing masses to offer prayers in Eidgah Srinagar and at other places.He said that these are the worst kind of intolerances and acts of hurting sentiments of Muslims in a Muslim majority State.While addressing a Press Conference in Srinagar today Er Rasheed said that the attack on him and mourners of Zahid and Showkat in New-Delhi on 19th October should act as an eye opener for all those who want to see things beyond politics and must understand that the attackers didn’t only threw ink and Paint on the victims but it was a deliberate attempt to terrorize Muslims throughout India.
While displaying the painted cloths he was wearing on the attack day, Er Rasheed said that the cloths carry terrible massage from New Delhi for people of Kashmir and are like coffins of India’s secularism and intolerance.
Referring to his motive behind withdrawal of FIR against attackers, Er Rasheed Said “Our struggle by no way is against the paid goons of Sang Parivar but their masters. It is shameful that in J&K successive government’s from 2002 till date, every time promised withdrawal of FIRs against innocent Kashmiri youth but are so scared of New Delhi that they couldn’t withdraw even false FIRs against the Kashmiris”.Er Rasheed added that let the world community understand India’s colonial attitude towards Kashmiris as they are neither being allowed to talk in assembly, nor allowed to have peaceful protests in Kashmir and are even debarred from expressing their grief in Delhi. “There can be no worst example of intolerance that even the relatives and mourners of Zahid and Showkat were not spared by the attackers in the Press Club. It should act as an eye opener for the State sponsored Molvi’s of India who have been trying to shamelessly defend the acts of Sangh Parivar by even misquoting Islam.” He added.
Er Rasheed reminded Mufti Syeed of the days when he and his party were talking of use of excessive force against Kashmiris including that of pellet guns and piper gas. He said let PDP govt. answer how did it dared to indulge in a series of State sponsored terror attacks on innocent citizens especially in South Kashmir including Bejbehara on a day when Kashmiris are remembering the martyrs of Bejbehara massacre on their 22ndanniversary.Er Rasheed added that the radicalization of Indian State is itself enough to prove Jinah’s two nation theory right. He termed claims of PDP ministers as a Big Joke that nobody can stop us from eating beef and said that it is just an act to hide their failure. He asked PDP that rather accusing others and trying to cover its shameless failures , it should understand that why BJP and Sang Parivar is making so much of hue and cry over holding of beef party in a Muslim dominated State and must understand that if BJP goons could chase an elected MLA from the Hall of assembly to Press Club of India and try to suck his blood , how could a common man take risk of eating beef in J&K. PDP needs to introspect its disastrous policies especially in light of revelations made by its own Member Parliament and we need not to give any clarification over the allegations being levelled by the party whose hands are soaked with cold blood of Kashmiris.
Er Rasheed also refuted and denied the news where he was quoted to have said that separatists are after my blood and added that a section of media in New-Delhi is keen bent to create confusion and misunderstanding between various Kashmiri political groups. (KNS)
