Minister for Information and Technology, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari Sunday presided a grand Majlis-i-Hussaini at Ashaibagh Hazratbal which was attended by thousands of devotees.On the occasion the minister, who is also the president of J&K Shia Association, threw light on the life and teachings of Hazrat Ali (RA) and narrated the incidents of Karbala.The Majlis was started with recitation of holy Quran, followed by marsiya by renowned Zakirs. The Majlis was organized under the aegis of J & K Shia Association.After the Majlis, minister also lead a Muharram procession which started from Imambara Ashaibagh and culminated at Imambara Hassanabad.Earlier, a blood donation camp was also held at Alamgari Bazar and Hawal Chowk which was organized by the Hussaini Peoples Council, in which number of volunteers donated their blood pints.
